Description: The scholarship was established in 1992 as a memorial to Betty Fletcher, foundation Patron of the Friends of Antiquity and generous benefactor of the Department of Classics and Ancient History, and maintained by the annual income from the UQ Alumni Trust, Betty Fletcher Memorial Trust Fund Sub-Fund, of which the Trustee is the Executive Committee of Alumni Friends of the University of Queensland Inc.
