Description: The Victoria University Diversity Graduate Research Scholarship provides living allowance support to promising researchers wishing to undertake a graduate research degree. It is designed to increase the diversity of graduate researchers at Victoria University.

Annual Comment: The scholarship provides a stipend of $25,849 per year (2015 rate: indexed annually). Tenure is 3 years for a PhD and 2 years for a master by research, with a possible a 6-month extension for PhD students. The scholarship also provides a thesis allowance and, where applicable, a relocation allowance.

Eligibility: Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they have experienced one or more of the following that have disrupted or adversely affected their studies: traumatic events beyond their control; significant illness and/or disability; or socioeconomic and/or family circumstances.
